Reason for recall: There is a possibility that the bolted connection of the battery cable where it passes through the bulkhead may be loose on a small number of vehicles. In most instances the customer is unable to start the engine. However in very rare cases if the battery is significantly discharged and the vehicle is being operated under increased electrical load a loose electrical connection can overheat whilst the vehicle is in use. If the above circumstances occur in very rare cases there could be a fire.
