Reason for recall: Jaguar engineers identified a crack present in the fuel outlet flange on components returned from the market. If a crack is present customers are most likely to detect fuel odour when the vehicle is static from the outside of the vehicle. However in extreme circumstances there could be a pool of fuel underneath the rear of the vehicle which in the presence of an ignition source could lead to a fire.
