Fitting Instructions

Where is the pollen filter?
passenger side under plastic cover at the base of the windscreen

Time to change - approx. 15 minutes
How Easy to change - moderate

Tools Needed?
adjustable spanner

Fitting Stage 1:-
The filter is located at the base of the windscreen, just behind the wiper. Remove the rubber profile that runs from side to side across the back of the engine bay.

Fitting Stage 2:-
Remove the upright triangular piece that divides the engine bay from the battery holder. Unscrew the 3 hexagonal bolts that hold on the plastic cover that spans from side to side at the back of the engine bay.

Fitting Stage 3:-
Pull forward the cover on the passenger side and swivel it to the side. The filter in its carrier should now be visible as it sits in a housing. Unclip the carrier from the housing and pull filter and carrier towards the wiper gear box.

Fitting Stage 4:-
With a bit of forward and down twist the filter and carrier can be removed. Remove the old filter from the carrier and insert the new filter so that the AIRFLOW ARROWS point to the open side of the carrier.

Fitting Stage 5:-
Insert the carrier back into the housing ensuring the lugs engage correctly and the clip engages. Refit the cover and its securing bolts. Refit the upright triangular piece, and finally refit the rubber profile back on the cover's front edge.
