Volkswagen Polo jumpy when idling in heavy traffic

Car: Volkswagen Polo
Variant: 1.4 manual
Model Year: 2006
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
The car is jumpy, lumpy sort of vibrating when it is stopped in heavy traffic. Don't notice anything when moving. Just the juddering when stationary and idling.

The same thing happened a couple of months ago, and the garage changed what used to be a spark plug, but now is called something else, I can't remember what the part is called now.

Anyway, that's it. Last time the car eventually started losing power. Why is is lumpy and jumpy like that when hot and idling?

Still got spark plugs but the part you are talking about is the ignition coils which replaces the old plug leads . Quite common to fail .Probably another breaking down and needing replaced .
