Volkswagen Polo fuel filling
Variant: 1.4 Elite Auto
Model Year: 2004
Hi all, well we have the Polo since new and it is an outstanding little performer.
But..... filling it with fuel is a bit of an art,
the book says it will swallow 45 liters, but at best I can get only 35 liters into it from empty.
We have seen our VW Service Center and they said all is ok, now what could cause this 10 liter discrepancy ?
Any clues?anyone?

is the tank damaged at all and have you ever run it out totally to see how much you can get in maybe the gauge is wrong
