Volkswagen Polo rev counter

Car: Volkswagen Polo
Variant: Match 1.4
Model Year: 2001
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
Ok, my rev counter stopped working. Then started working again. Then one day i was merrily driving along when the needle went full circle and stopped at the bottom. it moves side to side slightly, but its well off. What part do i need to replace? cheers

depending on whether the car mimicks the revs of what the needle is showing you, if it's just the needle moving & not the actual revs of the engine then you just should only need to replace the rev motor within the dash/speedometer/odemeter.
