Volkswagen Polo injectors faulty after only 300 miles!

Car: Volkswagen Polo
Variant: 1.2 TDI SE
Model Year: 2010
Categories: Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres
I purchased my new Polo 1.2TDI SE on 20th Oct - drove it for 8 days (300 miles) and a knocking noise developed from engine block. the garage didn't really know what the problem was suggesting it may require a new engine? which now has turned out to be 3 x injectors to be replaced? anyone had the same problem with a brand new car? - I'm having to accept it back but not happy that it could break down again?? Any advice?

you have the full warrantee period if it goes wrong again.it sounds like bad fuel damaging the injectors or vw may have a common problem.if it happens again go straight to customer services if it cant be fixed to a good standard you have a right to return the car to the selling dealer for a full refund.BUT you must prove the car to be faulty so keep a full record of all comunications with your garage.hope cars ok and you wont have to do this
