right here is an update, tried another set of plugs last week ,,hey presto it ran brilliantly .......................for a week then the head gasket gave way!!!,this answers lots of problems i have had with this car over the past few months ,,,
head gone away to be skimmed and i have also purchased all i need to rebuild ,including new stretch bolts ,but any further advice on aev type engine rebuids or tips would be much appreciated (bit nervous as i usually on work on air cooled bike engines and a few water cooled two strokes),esp initial torque settings before degreeing in the head at the four stages. ,thanks for everybody`s previous help and posts
