Volkswagen Polo replaced master cylinder and now the brakes wonts release properly

Car: Volkswagen Polo
Variant: Gti
Model Year: 2006
Categories: Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres
Both front brakes are feeling like they are not properly releasing after brakes have been applied, no lights have come on the dash , no air is released when brakes are being bled since the master cylinder was replaced, what is the correct bleeding procedure?

I’ve just read a similar story with a another gti and I’m beginning to think that it’s just the pushrod adjustment in the brake booster being a bit too longer than it should be and I think I will have to adjust it to a slightly shorter length? Does anyone agree? It’s happened only after the master cylinder was installed and it was a aftermarket replacement so there may be slight differences between them???

It's possible with using after market parts as it could be a faulty part also . I never messed about with brake parts , fitted trusted makes only or OEM . That way you never had to start adjusting parts to make do .
