Volkswagen Polo timing chain problems

Car: Volkswagen Polo
Variant: 1.2 petrol
Model Year: 2014
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
had the car checked out at a garage they said timing chain was stretched so I've changed the chain got all the timing correct started the car & it wasn't ticking over properly & wouldn't rev about 2500. Haven't done a compression test yet but it seems there is no compression, I've also changed the coil packs as I've been told this is a fault on the 6r engine.

Jf this has happened since doing the timing chain , you must have screwed up the job .

No it was running rough to start with getting harder and harder to start this is why I took it to the garage, no fault codes were showing on the dash but when they put it on the diagnostic device it picked up timing chain I've done loads of these in the past with the correct tools & never had a problem after. Now I've been told it could be a valve problem as the chain jumped a few teeth before the chain was replaced.

A known issue with these cars I'm afraid . Thought you would have known this as you say " I've done loads of these in the past "
