Volkswagen Polo kangaroo jumps

So between 1st and 2nd gear when starting after stopping it jumps. Best way to describe it is when you take ur foot off the clutch and it does that jumping motion. It started off between 1st and 2nd and then today did it while i was in 4th. Tonight also it didnt want to pick up speed and started slowing down. I even changed to a lower gear to try get it to pick up speed. It was like something wasnt kicking in to make it go faster. Anybody any ideas?

Very common on that car and others is for one of the ignition pencil coils to fail . Means you lose a cyl and subsequent loss of engine power .Easy to replace ..
