Volkswagen Polo engine vibration only around 2-3,000rev

Car: Volkswagen Polo
Variant: 1.9 diesel
Model Year: 1999
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
As vehicle accelerates the engine vibrates (sounds similar to a missfire) around 2,000 - 3,000 revs. vibration is felt throughout car. No vibration on idle or above 3,000. Any ideas?

in the fuse box there is a fuse red fuse marked MOTOR check it... that fuse is used to govern the injection advance on the pump. if thats ok then i suspect possible injector/pump fault or loose or broken engine mounts. see how you get on. hope this helps!!

Have you had an exhaust fitted you will find that when you accelerate it pulls the exhaust and hit the floor by the handbrake which send a vibration through the car the exhaust needs to be repositioned if you can get under the car you will usually see the marks where it has been hitting
