Volkswagen Polo sticks when pulling off and delays in accelerating from in 1

Car: Volkswagen Polo
Variant: 1.4 Match
Model Year: 2011
Categories: Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres
Low mileage, only 20,000. Feels sticky when pulling off especially on hill starts..(from still you lift the clutch up to pull away, it feels like something is holding the car still and it will then just suddenly pull away as if sometjing releases) also a 2 second delay to power when pulling off using the accelorater. Just been bought from a garage and has 3 months warranty so any major problems are covered.. just had two new front tyres. any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks.

Could be sticking brakes , but other possible causes .Might be worthwhile getting another good garage to examine and report on car .Then you can submit report and any faults for repair under warranty , the sooner the better .

Took to garage today, they were very helpful and cleaned up my brakes (calipers, disks etc) free of charge! Works perfectly now! Mechanic Did notice that my car was idling high though so may be an unconnected underlying issue. But will keep my eye on it. Thanks for advice
