Volkswagen Passat brake pad vibration

Car: Volkswagen Passat
Model Year: 2005
Categories: Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres
Can anyone tell me why I have a clonking noise on my front brakes when going over humps or pot-holes...I have had the brake pads changed and then had new springs fitted, but the problem is still there.
The pads removed showed that they had been moving ( a small flattened part on the semi circle).

Hope somene can help...have tried varios ways of finding out but none have been successful
