Volkswagen Passat water build up!

Car: Volkswagen Passat
Variant: 1.9 Tdi
Model Year: 2000
Categories: Leaks & Noises
Hi, directly underneath the windscreen/behind the engine bulkhead there is always a build up of water. When left un-noticed it can effect the wiper motor, and leak into the car down the throttle pedal.
Is there any type of drain that may be blocked, or is it possible to make your own?

Any ideas/advise would be much appreciated?

Thank,

Jimlee

there will be a drain there that just needs unblocking but dont make your own as this will only make things worse so just have a good look under the cover and you should see water stain marks that would indicate some form of a drain near by

drain holes will be blocked by leaves etc.
