Oil leaking from your EGR valve and the awful smell of oil burning in side the car sounds very much like your cylinder head.
1. Check the exhaust pipe at the rear of the car and just rub your finger inside the exhaust tail pipe and if there is a smell of burnt oil smell, yes its the cyl head.
2. Start the engine and look into the side mirror on your exhaust side or get someone to watch to see if blue smoke emitts out of it, or even follow you down the road as you change gear blue smoke will emit.
3. If steam comes out it is your cyl head and with rubbing your finger in the tail pipe of your exhaust and it smell of both oil and antifreeze. That is the problem of your EGR oil leak. EGR = Exhaust Gas Regulator.
4. The EGR also has an oil pipe feed to it, this could be the problem too. The Fonz.
