Volkswagen Passat shuddering when accelerating & driving

Car: Volkswagen Passat
Variant: 1.9 tdi diesel
Model Year: 2001
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
The car has been juddering in low gears (feels like when you stall the engine but the engine is still going!?) and then if you can get speed up it goes ok but sounds and feels funny.
No warning lights but when you restart the car, the service now sign beeps.
Could it be wheel bearings, timing belt, fuel problems???? Please help!!

probably the injector wiring that is inside the rocker cover as a tempoary fix try removing the rocker cover and unplugging the injector plugs spray with a liitle wd40 and reconnecting a more permanent fix would be replacing the wiring loom that runs inside the rocker and is plugged in on the back of the head.as for the service light if you press the right hand button on the dash dials and hold in then switch on the ignition and turn the left hand button to the right it should reset however make sure it is serviced cos this only resets the light
