Volkswagen Passat anti lock brakes coming on prior to car coming to a holt

Car: Volkswagen Passat
Variant: 1.9 TDi 115 bhp
Model Year: 2003
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
I have just changed both sets of shoes front and rear and Garage has just changed n/s CV boot. After thegarage work anti lock brakes are comming on (judder on brake peddle) just before car comes to a holt ie at very low speed.
When I changed the brakes bleed nipples opened at the rear and no problems after brakes chaged only after CV boot replaced.
Might need to bleed the system or chnage the rear discs as they were not in good condition.
Concerned I may have damaged the anti lock system during the pad change.
Any ideas.
Thanks
Dave.

well if you had no problems after you replaced the shoes and pads on your car then the problem is down to the garage so i would take it back and have them give the car a once over just to be safe

You will probably find that they have either got c.v grease over the sensor or may have damaged the abs ring on the c.v joint itself as i have known a few people who have done this when replacing the c.v gaiter
