Volkswagen Passat rattle/clatter from n/s front

on an uneven road/ pothole/speedhump I'm getting a rattle/ clatter from the n/s front but when Braking it stops, its been into several garages but none can find where it's,coming from, one garage even put it on a,shaker plate and still found nothing, I've hit a brick wall with this now, any ideas what it could be??

Sounds like brake pads rattling in calliper .Some make of pads are bad for this .Could check anti rattle springs are o.k and coat back of pads and contact points with Copper grease or similar .
