Volkswagen Passat windows steaming up from inside

Windows steaming up from inside, doesn't get cleared despite heater is on, it gets worst during raining, had a similar problem about two year ago, I had to get Heatro matrix changed then, not sure if same problem has come back, kindly assist.....

Check to see if water is coming in through pollen filter , check pollen filter also .

It sounds very much as though the Heater Matrix is beginning to break down,If you find yourself having to top up your radiator/header tank with water and you can not see any obvious leaks then it is pointing towards the Heater Matrix.

yes check pollen filter also make sure bulk head drain holes are clear these can block up and water then gets into car under carpets if left can damage electrical module under carpet on n/s check for coolant loss which could be caused by a leak on heater matrix use your air con this will take moisture out of car if heater matrix is leaking you could try using a forte cooling system sealer this works well and cheaper option than having matrix replaced again
