Volkswagen Golf hid question --- refelctors

hi sorry about the spelling
i have angels(headlamps) in my golf one(one in each headlight) has a refecltor in the refelctor i have a kit hid which i recently noticed its not giving it all i took the bulb out and as soon as i saw the bulb in my hand my eyes just went BOOM and everything went darker after it was okay so i think the refector is blocking some or most of the power? shoudl i remove the refecltor this ? will it dazzle other road user if i do i tryed to put the hid kit into the flash but it does not fit i dont know why help please

hi, HID kit's as like one's on ebay, are actually illegal to use, as they dazel other road users with out the correct reflectors, and as of 2012, they will fail Mot tests, they look cool as , but are been outlawed because they dazzel drivers, when the bulbs are fitted to non compatable headlamps.
