Volkswagen Golf car misfiring...

Car: Volkswagen Golf
Variant: 1.8i syncro
Model Year: 1994
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
4th cylinder misfire on tuesday so lots of growling and engine jolt. Changed spark plugs after checking HT leads were fine. After changing all spark plugs, no misfire engine fine.

Today and yesterday, car accelerating in 1st okay... 2nd and higher slippy jolting. intermitant loss of power in all gears except first, takes longer to accelerate, growling noise, hear the engine vibrating.

Help lol.

Are you sure those leads are ok? could be an intermitant fault

I believe it to be the 4th HT lead. I think the inside of it is damaged. I think with the engine jolting, it's making and breaking the lead connection. Good solution fluffy, cheers.
