The alternator belt for my car went loose and it was adjusted to tight position, but from that moment the accelerator cable has become stiff, is there anything that could have happened , do they link ?Please help..though i can drive the car but the accerator cable is stiff and there is a sign of a circle with a cross line on the circle and it reads 30km/hr as if i am not supose to drive more than 30km/hr.

You need to get the car scanned and see what fault codes are shown .
