Vauxhall Zafira intermittantly struggles to start

Car: Vauxhall Zafira
Variant: 1.6 life
Model Year: 2006
Categories: Engine & Drivetrain
I have owned my 56 plate 1.6 petrol Zafira for 6 months and roughly once a week it struggles to start. The problem has no pattern and sounds like the car is struggling to get enough fuel but then, after 5 seconds gets going. The garage I bought it from has replaced the crank shaft sensor, changed the spark plugs and cleaned out the throttle body but all to no avail. I would appreciate your help because they have no more answers. Thanks.

starter motor may be on its way out, remove the starter motor and check the teeth for wear,if ok then clean out with brake cleaner or wd40
