Vauxhall Zafira steaming up inside car windows

Car: Vauxhall Zafira
Variant: 1.8
Model Year: 2002
Categories: Leaks & Noises
The windows keep steaming up, have to have heating on full to clear windscreen so its safe to drive, starts steaming up 10 mins after driving, fluid levels in heating are all OK so vapour not coming from the car itself, possibly its the air conditioning which stopped working and Kwik fit tested and said had a leak, it gets worse if its raining, just don't get where the water vapour comes from as its been doing it for about 8 month now just never had to time to sort it out, just turn heating up to temp resolve

make sure the recirculation is set to air from outside
also a/c does clear extra fast so id call a mobile ac specialist as the system shouldnt be open to air as it can destroy ac system

check the floor carpets are they wet if so you have a water leak inside vehicle(rain water)possible door leak?wet carpets then create a damp atmosphere in the car which make windows steam up

May be water under the floor. I had this problem & found gallons of water has collected between the carpet floor & floor pan. There is sponge material between the carpet & metal floor & this retains moisture. You can check by removing the blank by the rhs of the driver seat & feeling for water (or in my case seeing it!) No idea how to dry it out though.
