Leaks & Noises
Hi
My car only when In reserve I can smell rotten eggs / sulphur smell inside the car.
The car has recently had
New timing kit
New battery
New clutch dual mass and master cylinder
It is regularly serviced too
It's done 83k but my patience is running out a little with just how many times of late the car has been in a garage for all sorts. I don't think this would be relevant but lost my brakes coming off motorway a few months back so had new pads all round too with replacement fluid. ( Pads were not too bad when replaced but opted to have them done anyway)

If pads were not too bad , very unusual to be the cause of brake failure on any car . The " smell rotten eggs / sulphur smell inside the car. " will usually be coming from the catalytic convertor or from the car battery if faulty
or overcharging alternator . A diagnostic scan with suitable equipment should show any relevant fault codes . Often these faults can occur if car used for short , stop / start journeys
