Headlights not working.....cannot locate on the fuse box

I've checked the fuse box schematic for that car / year and there are no fuses but came across this from VZ forum on same fault
" As you have discovered there are no fuses for the lighting. It is controlled by the UEC module (Underhood electronic module) Or what is in effect a bloody big complicated thing that is also a fusebox. The most common fault with these is water can get into them (and the connectors) and corrode the terminals. Unless you are handy with such things I would get a good sparky to take a look."
