Car starts fine, then when it’s warmed up and at a stand it idels rough, cuts out some times and goes in to limp mode, garage said they don’t know what’s wrong.

There are usually stored fault codes when it goes into limp mode that can be retrieved by scanning . Could try changing fuel filter
