water sprays when engine is running i thought it was coming from radiator or the pipe so i put a piece of cardboard in between the pipe and water pump pulley and water is spraying onto it and getting coolant on the underside of bonnet i have replaced the water pump recently but have seen signs if coolant on aircon compresser

If you cant see where the leak is coming from you will need to pressure test cooling system which should then reveal the source .
