Vauxhall Zafira rear n/s door lock
Variant: 1.6 energy
Model Year: 2007
Back passenger door on far side won’t open either from the inside or the outside.
Got the casing/ card off from the inside thinking that I should at least be able to get the door open and investigate further.
Would taking the fuse out of the central locking help to at least get the door open.
Above all else I need to rectify the problem as it’s the only thing I need to rectify to pass the MOT

On most locks if you pull the door card you should be able to manually operate and open the lock by using the rods/ linkage . A common fault is for the wiring from centre door pillar in rubber sleeve to break causing non operation . Could open front door and check / examine or even wiggle wires whilst trying to open .
