If it is a Cosa D, the 2006 to 2011 model and a 1.0 or 1.2 or 1.4 petrol then it does NOT HAVE A BELT but does have a chain which would normally outlast the engine.
If it is a Corsa C (200 to 2007 model) and is a 1.0 or 1.2 then it also has a chain and no belt
If it is a Corsa C with a 1.4 or 1.8 petrol then it does have a belt which needs to be replaced every 56000 miles or 6 years whichever comes FIRST
If one oth those breakes there will be damage to valves and pistons and could write off the engine
Several of these which have been poorly maintained will break this very day - guaranteed. "

The belt change recommended interval for that year / model is 100,000 miles or 10 years .Not a major job , but if not sure on how to replace , leave alone
