If the wiring is there , try plugging in lamp to see if it works or not .Probably have to replace grille with correct one for fog lights .Might get one from a scrap yard if expensive to buy .

Just checked up out of curiousity and it seems to be a bigger job on some models ,

"
Does anyone know how to remove the grill that is in the front bumper on some models it contains the fog lights, my Zaf is without the foglights and I have been offered the grill + fogs off a mates Zaf but the bumper is the wrong colour so I want to change the grill but for the life of me can I figure it out ??? "

"you have to melt all the plastic lugs on the back i just done mine but it was a real pain and took ages and then i had to install all new wiring as the zafira's dont come with the wiring pre installed "

" Attempt 2 to post a reply. I've just completed fitting front fogs to my zafira a '02 1.6 club. I was fortunate enough that I had the wiring installed already in my car so it wasn't too bad. The ugly bits were removing the old grill as it was heat-welded to the bumper by the lugs, and getting the bumper off with the arch screws stripped (torx screws realy weren't the best idea for a high weather zone) I used a chisel to skim the old heat-weld off the lugs followed by a soldering iron to put the new grill on the same lugs. Last resort is to use the untouched lugs to heat weld to. It takes a bit of patience but not unsumountable - just don't damage all the lugs as it's a new bumber job otherwise :)

Put the bumper back on with new screws (hex head for the arch screws so I can get them out next time), fitted a new light switch, 15A fuse to fuse #12, relay in relay position 5 and that was about it - fogs working (no need to tech2 to car) "
