Vauxhall Zafira rough running from cold for 3 minutes

Hi, my zafira coughs & splutters only from dead cold for about 3 minutes & then settles & is fine until it gets cold again- i.e next morning. It drives fine after it`s settled. In those 3 mins, it won`t let you rev it, just idles rough but rarely completely stalls- have renewed plugs but no difference.

Suspect the ECT sensor.the engine coolant temperature sensor is the part that tells the computer what the temp is,if yours is reading wrong it'll efectivley be like the choke not coming on in an older car,ask your dad about that one
