Vauxhall Zafira rear brake lights stuck on

Rear brake lights stuck on all the time , only go out when i turn off the ignition, this problem just started out the blue , no bulb change or anything like.

check the brake light switch which will be near the top of the brake pedal it has either slipped out and so the pedal is not pressing the switch to turn the lights off or it has just gone faulty,the pedal should come into contact with the plunger on the switch when it is released which then breaks the circuit
