hi guys an gals im working on a zafira i bought cheap which had a power steering intermittant fault i changed the alternator which made no difference and also swapped the power steering pump which made no difference.im being told now that they have a solinoid /switch on them which cuts in from the alternator but i dont know where this is can anyone help me end my torment cheers muchly

Most likely the EHPS unit is faulty.
Expensive and in a really bad place to try to replace.
