Vauxhall Zafira diagnostic light

Diagnostic Light keeps on all the time. I have changed the Catalytic Converter but the problem is still the same. I am also getting fumes in the car

It's not a diagnostic light,it's an engine malfunction lamp,or EML for short,it comes on you check for stored codes and then move on what the codes suggest.
You do not replace anything on the strength of a code!
a faulty o2 sensor code means test the sensor not renew it,and you replaced the cat!why?
Code reading is the BEGINING of diagnostics.

I chnaged the cat because thats what the diagnostice computer said (Cat malfunction). The computer is now saying sensor, breather pipe no functioning
