Vauxhall Zafira digital mileage showing a digit out of place

Car: Vauxhall Zafira
Variant: 1.9CDTI
Model Year: 2008
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
Hi my Zafira currently has 39800 miles on the clock but the other day a 1 has appeared to the left but it is more over to the left than it would have been 139800, something has happened to the digital display is this a faulty display or is the 1 a fault code , hope someone can help

Sounds like the display has gone haywire.
Generally to fix the dashboard just needs resetting.
Will probably need plugging into diagnostics at a vauxhall dealer or somone with op com or tech 2 diagnostic equipment.
From there the cluster can all be reset and recalibrated and fault should be cured.
Local independent garage should charge around £50 quid local dealer about 80 or so.
Before doing this try holding down the trip reset for 10-20 seconds as sometimes this will reset them or disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes as sometimes this will do it.

Sorry if stateing the obvious, but make sure you have the radio code before disconnecting the battery.
