does the engine rev up ok when stationary?check all vacuum pipes especially one from dpf to boost pressure sensor as these are prone to going brittle and snapping, can you feel the turbo kicking in?is there any smoke from exhaust or noise that happen at time of fault?would get a diagnostic done to check for any stored fault codes

wont rev over 3 thousand when i first start it up so i have to sit there revin it up for a while.then when i do pull of the rev counter has to creep up past 2 1/2 nearly 3 thousand and then the turbo kicks in.

does it struggle to rev up or is it instant, does the engine cut out, might need to get the dpf regenerated

Any update on this problem??

My problems started when my turbo failed and the van started burning oil 3 weeks ago.
Its had problems with no low revs until it hits 2500 rpm and the turbo kicks in. Bad for pulling out of junctions with any weight on board. Keep the revs high and it drives like normal.

Its been back to the garage and they got the diagnostics machine that can look at everything.

The EGR valve has been changed a number of sensors and then the Air mass flow. 24 hours after getting it back the new Air mass flow failed, took it back and the super computer diagnosed it as faulty. They changed it for a new one. The exact same thing has just happened again. Driving along experience a shudder like as if the gear had popped out and now got no low end revs AGAIN @:( What could be causing this AMF to keep failing. Prior to the turbo, I have never had a problem
