I have a 2015 vivaro since new has had gearbox issues when new which vauxhall ended up replacing g the box. I have done 97000 miles in it now and the big end bearings have gone. Been told thus is a 7500 plus vat repair any ideas why this may have happened or what to do

Different reasons why bearings can go at that mileage . Some of the VX engines suffered from oil pump failures . You could either get it reconditioned if in suitable condition or a good s/hand unit .
