Vauxhall Vivaro handbrake

I have had new pads disc and cables and still got a poor handbrake, I was told that the calipers look fine, so what else can I do to get a handbrake that will hold, it let it’s self off and smashed into a car and now it’s totally gone, when I go back to the garage they say it’s a problem with the vivaro, so help please ?

" the garage they say it’s a problem with the vivaro," So you think Vauxhall or any other manufacturer would be allowed to make and sell cars with a defective h/brake without a major recall ???? Get yourself another garage that knows what they are doing and can fix cars . " I was told that the calipers look fine," I don't know of anyone who can tell by looking , they need checking / stripping down
