Vauxhall Vivaro engine management system turns over but won't start

Is this right that it has to be fixed by vauxhall only engine management system.

You don't have to go to the dealers .Any one with suitable diagnostic scanner can read the fault codes and tell what has triggered the light .Dealers will charge you far more to diagnose but do have the proper Tech 2/3 equipment .
