Sounds like clutch master cyl .?

In my experience of these that's the symptom of a failing clutch slave cylinder,
Fitting a new master "might" work,
but I've had two of these in that had both been fitted with masters that still had the same fault that ended up with new clutches and concentric slaves fitted.
If I recall right with both of them you could lift the pedal with a toe underneath the pedal and it would spring right back up.
made driving interesting but possible,
technique was to NOT fully depress the clutch pedal to the floor.
A temporary solution at best but they both drove in!
It's only going to get worse,
Sorry.
