just bought vivaro and goes a lot better than my old citroen but doesn,t rev past 3000 when stationary or past 4000 when moving feels like it hits rev limiter, have tried a mass air flow off neighbours van but no different. just had oil and air filter but not fuel filter any ideas thanks.

Possible blockage with egr or exhaust system,and fuel filters worth trying.

They're meant to do this when ther e is a fault with the diesel injection system.
usually comes with the glow plug light staying on.or flashing.
First step is get it code read.
