Vauxhall Vectra radiator fan has stopped working

Car: Vauxhall Vectra
Variant: 1.8 VVT Sri Nav
Model Year: 2006
Categories: Engine & Drivetrain
Hi,

I have just completed a service in my car (plugs, Oil, air, pollen and fuel filters and oil) and once complete, for some reason my car appeared to be overheating. I have checked and looks as though the radiator fan may not be working. I have aircon and when the I press the switch, the fan starts spinning away. Can anybody shed some light on as to what my problem may be please. Thanks

find the fan control switch, which is on the rad, remove the electrical plug, bridge the two wires together, this should operate the fan. if it does, it properly means the thermo control switch is faulty. if nothing happens, check the feed to the plug, if its there, its properly the fan motor faulty. if no feed trace supply to fuse.
