Vauxhall Vectra outside temperature

Hi,
the outside temperature has stop appearing on inside pannel.
i can see a wire with some king of plug hanging down from the front below the engine but i dont know where to insert it back.
any help please!

Outside temperature sensor on Vectra-B onwards is in the centre of the bumper just below and behind the front numberplate.
