Vauxhall Vectra droning noise from front nearside

Car: Vauxhall Vectra

Model Year: 2002

Can you help?

I have a droning noise from front nearside of car.
I have replaced brake pads, re-greased CV joints, and checked wheel bearings ... still have noise.
Could it be Gearbox oil?

Usually wheel bearing .

I have had the wheel bearing checked by garage ... no noise and no play ... after getting under the car, whilst assimilitating it moving (in drive), the noise is not at the wheel hub

Can you hear noise when you simululate it , if so and it's not at hub , where is it coming from .If it's coming from gearbox , check oil level as you suggest .If it is gear box / transmission and with other faults you posted , might be worth considering getting rid of car ?
