Vauxhall Vectra headlamp warning on trip computer

After driving for about 1 mile Trip computer Displays LOW BEAM FLD VISION with CHECK illuminated at bottom,this vehicle has a rare opptional extra of gas discharge low beam headlamps which are all working any ideas as needless replacing of bulbs/ignitor packs on these headlamps is costly bulbs around £90 ignitor packs around £50 ??????

I had the same problem with my headlights, check the two leveling sensors on your car.

First one is passenger side in the wheel area, there is a link connecting the front left wishbone to the sensor, check that the link and connection to the sensor hasn't popped off the back.

Second one is at the back right under the car connecting the rear suspension arm to the sensor, unsure exactly but its a similar setup to the front.

Give them a check first before you change any motors, etc. VX happy to change the expensive things first before checking the simple things.
