Vauxhall Vectra vectra diesel c white smoke on cold start up

I have noticed that when the car starts up when the weather is cold, there seems to be a lot of white smoke coming out of the exhaust. anyone have any ideas as to why this may be happening.

Happens to all cars in those conditions till engine reaches operating temp . Provided running ok and not using any water / coolant , nothing to worry about .

Could just be due to condensation in the exhaust system when the hot gases touches the water it starts to heat up just like a kettle. Not to worry mate.
