Vauxhall Vectra replacement door is jammed shut.

Car: Vauxhall Vectra
Variant: C
Model Year: 2003
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
I got a replacement door from a local breakers yard, everything works on it. I fitted the door without issue. it even opened and closed with the central locking.
After the first drive with the new door, once parked up, I could not open the door from the inside or the outside and it is now unresponsive to both manual locking/unlocking and by remote fob.
I did not replace the actual lock on the door itself or indeed the solenoid/actuator for the central locking.
I suspect that this may be the cause of the problem, but my biggest issue is HOW DO I GET THE DAMN DOOR OPEN?
I have done a bit of research on how to fix the door, but any advice on how to get the door open would be greatly received.
I currently ;look like the Dukes of Hazzard getting in and out of my car..

Thanks all,

Marps

If not a case of door not been rehung / aligned correctly and now jammed , you will need to pull door trim and manually operate linkage for lock .
