Vauxhall Vectra throttle

Car: Vauxhall Vectra
Variant: 2.0 DTI SL
Model Year: 2004
Categories: Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres
Recently when slowing down and still in gear, I have taken my foot of the throttle and the car still maintains speed until I either change down a gear and brake. Two mechanics tell me this is normal for a Vectra, which I don’t believe. I would be grateful for any suggestions. Thank You

If your vehicle has cruise control, are you sure that you are not turning it on by mistake. Or maybe there is a fault on the cruise control system...
